Movie Booking System User Guide
Introduction
MovieApp is a desktop app for users to see the upcoming shows, book a movie and read movie reviews. The app is optimized for use via a Command Line Interface (CLI) while still having the benefits of a Graphical User Interface (GUI). If you can type fast, MovieApp can help you view and book movies conveniently.
Quick Start
- Ensure that you have Java 11 or above installed.
- Download the latest version of
MovieAppfrom here. - Copy the file to the directory you want to use as the home directory for your MovieApp.
- Open your terminal / command prompt. Direct it to the folder which contains MovieApp file. Type

Launching the application for the first time will automatically create four new files in the current directory.
- Enter the credentials to utilize the application as either an admin or a customer using the sample below.
